A Q&A with the movie’s producer and director Pieter Gaspersz plus co-producer, writer and actor Sabrina Gennarino, will follow after the screening. The discussion will be hosted by Picture House critic-in-residence Marshall Fine. Starring Academy Award-nominee Kathleen Quinlan, "After" is a dramatic mystery centered around the Valentinos, a middle class family struggling with the financial consequences of a failing family business and a series of intergenerational conflicts and rivalries. But, what truly threatens to upset their delicate balance —and shatter the emotionally fragile family matriarch — is an intricately buried secret that, if revealed, could alter their lives irrevocably.

Gaspersz began in the film industry writing, directing, starring, and producing student films. His talent was rewarded in 1998, when he received a scholarship to the university of his choice, for his work as lead editor and producer on Youth Soccer of America financed by the Mars Corporation. Gaspersz completed his professional producer and directorial debut with 2009’s "The Hypocritic Oath" premiering at FOX studios to great acclaim. Gennarino has starred in a variety of film and television roles over the last ten years. Her highly-acclaimed work has been acknowledged with various awards, including best actress, in film festivals around the globe. Gennarino’s skills as a storyteller moved beyond the front of the camera in "The Hypocritic Oath" which she not only starred in, but also wrote and directed.  Tickets to the special advance screening and post-film discussion are free for members, $12/general admission, $10/students and seniors and are available at www.thepicturehouse.org or at the box office, 175 Wolfs Lane, Pelham.
