PELHAM, N.Y. – The Picture House presents an advance screening on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 7:30 p.m., of “Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain," followed by a post-film Q&A.

The screening comes one day before its nationwide release and the Q&A will be with actor Kal Penn of the “Harold & Kumar” trilogy, “The Namesake”, “House”, and “How I Met Your Mother”; director Ravi Kumar, and screenwriter David Brooks. In addition to Penn, the film also stars Martin Sheen, Mischa Barton, Raajpal Yadav, and an ensemble cast.

Filmed mostly in India, “Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain” is an epic whodunit that exposes the real-life events that led to the biggest man-made industrial disaster in history, in which as many as 10,000 people were killed in one night in December 1984.

Tickets to the special sneak peek screening of Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain and post-film discussion are $12/general admission, $10/students and seniors, $6/members and are available at http://www.thepicturehouse.org or at the box office, 175 Wolfs Lane, Pelham.
