"Samba" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival to critical acclaim. Sy stars as a migrant from Senegal who fights to stay in France with the assistance of an immigration officer played by Charlotte Gainsboug. The unlikely pair comes together to improve both their lives in a story that touches upon personal and societal issues with humor.
Tickets are free to Secret Summer Cinema ticket holders, or $12 for general admission. Member tickets are $6 and student and senior admission is $10. Tickets are available at the box office or online at www.thepicturehouse.org.
