PELHAM, N.Y. – The Picture House will show a special screening of the Academy Award-nominated film "The Grand Budapest Hotel," followed by a discussion with Matt Zoller Seitz, author of the bestselling "The Wes Anderson Collection" and its companion book, "The Wes Anderson Collection: The Grand Budapest Hotel," at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26.

"The Grand Budapest Hotel" recounts the adventures of Gustave H (Ralph Fiennes), a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune—all against the backdrop of a suddenly and dramatically changing continent.

The cast includes Ralph Fiennes, Saoirse Ronan, Jude Law, Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman. The film was nominated for nine Academy Awards including Best Picture.

Matt Zoller Seitz’s "The Wes Anderson Collection: The Grand Budapest Hotel" is the only book to take readers behind the scenes of "The Grand Budapest Hotel."

After the screening, Picture House Critic-in-Residence Marshall Fine will lead a discussion and Q&A about the movie and Anderson’s other works with Seitz.

Seitz is the editor-in-chief of RogerEbert.com . He is also the TV critic for New York Magazine and Vulture.com , and was a finalist for the 1994 Pulitzer Prize in criticism.

Seitz has written, narrated, edited or produced more than 100 hours of video essays about cinema history and style for "The Museum of the Moving Image" and "The L Magazine."

Tickets to the special screening of "The Grand Budapest Hotel" and post-film discussion are $12/general admission, $10/students and seniors, $6/members and are available at www.thepicturehouse.org or at the box office, 175 Wolfs Lane, Pelham.
