Pelham's Annual Street Fair Promises Fun For The Whole Family

PELHAM, N.Y. -- Fifth Avenue will be bustling with neighbors, vendors, performers and more on Saturday, June 7 at the Pelham Annual Street Fair.

Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, the free fair has attracted thousands of people from around the area in previous years. The event sports several fun activities for children and adults alike to benefit a variety of local businesses and philanthropies.

Accompanying a number of food and drink vendors will be a sidewalk sales, demonstrations, craft tables and a classic car show.

After heading to the Gazebo to catch some tunes from Jackie DiMaggio, Elvis impersonator Patric Perrone and others, dance on over to the “Tango in the Courtyard” from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Pelham Arts Center.

Pelham Medical Group will also be on hand to offer free sidewalk blood-pressure screenings plus fire safety tips for kids and families.

For the kids, there will be a carousel, kiddie rides, Velcro Olympics, an obstacle course and tree climbing activities.

Mayor Timothy Cassidy and Village trustees will also be available for meet and greets.

The Pelham Chamber of Commerce Annual Street Fair is free and open to the public. It will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine. The fair will be on Fifth Avenue between First and Lincoln Avenues.
