Pelham Town Historian To Speak About Estates, Mansions At Bartow Pell

PELHAM, N.Y. -- Town of Pelham Historian Blake Bell will visit Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum to present  “Bartow Neighbors: The Mansions and Estates of Pelham Bay,” the first of three talks in March by local historians, at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, located at 895 Shore Road in The Bronx.

Bell gives a presentation on the country estates and mansions that these neighbors of the Bartows built or enhanced, detailing stories of their rise and demise using rare images and maps.

The March Lecture Series is co-sponsored by the Huntington Free Library and Reading Room.
