Pelham, Bronxville Junior Leagues Sponsor 'A Place At The Table' Screening

PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Junior Leagues of Bronxville and Pelham will screen the hunger documentary "A Place at the Table" at The Picture House on Monday, March 7.

A panel discussion on food insecurity with Roberta Apuzzo, executive director at Community Services Associates, Mount Vernon; Tony Laud, executive director at West Help USA, Mount Vernon; Carole Troum, executive director of Hope Community Services, New Rochelle; and Kristi Jacobson, director of "A Place at the Table: and founder of Catalyst Films will follow the screening.

The documentary shows the economic, social and cultural implications of hunger and obesity in the United States and covers how to solve issues related to food access. 

The screening begins at 7 p.m. 

The Picture House is at 175 Wolfs Lane in Pelham. 

The Junior League requests an optional donation at the door. Donations will support the groups' efforts in supporting healthy families and fighting food insecurity in Southern Westchester County.
