A man in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s disease was found in Cape May County on Saturday after more than 24 hours of driving around Pennsylvania and New Jersey, police say. Police originally feared Max Reuter was headed to Passaic County in his Honda CRV. But it turns out he went in the other direction from his Hope Township home.

State Police were so concerned after Reuter disappeared that they issued alerts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Fortunately, he used a credit card at a gas station in the Cape May area and was tracked down, authorities said.
