Ricoh McClain, 32, was found guilty of the second-degree murder of 27-year-old Kevin Davis outside the Oxon Hill Popeyes on Friday, April 15, the Prince George's State Attorney's Office said.
McClain reportedly stabbed Davis outside the fast food restaurant for cutting to the front of the line on November 4, 2019, Prince George's County Police said. Davis died from a single stab wound at a local hospital shortly after police arrived on scene.
Aside from the second-degree murder, McClain was also charged with first-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. McClain could be sentenced to up to 30 years in prison for the second-degree murder charge. His sentence date is scheduled for July 25, WTOP reports.
