Anthony Guzzardo, 28, of Hyde Park, was arrested Friday, May 18, after the Town of Poughkeepsie Police received a complaint from the victim that Guzzardo had come within 500 feet of their residence on numerous occasions, said Capt. Kevin Faber.
Within a few hours of receiving the complaint, police were able to locate Guzzardo as a passenger in a vehicle, Faber said. During his arrest, police also discovered that the person driving the vehicle also had an order of protection to stay away from the victim, he added.
Guzzardo was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal contempt.
