NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Registering online for the 2014 Hounds on the Sound walk before Aug. 31 will allow participants to be entered into a drawing for $25 worth of raffle tickets to be used the day of the event.
The Hounds on the Sound walk will be held Sunday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Glen Island Park.
The event will consist of a 1.5-mile walk on a path bordering the Long Island Sound followed by a park festival featuring vendors, refreshments, music, activities for kids, dog contests and more. Dogs and cats will be available for adoption.
